Frequently Asked Questions

What is Megaton Caller?

Megaton Caller is your personal assistant for making automated phone calls. It lets you schedule recurring calls to automated systems — like checking if you have to report for jury duty, checking on-call job status, or finding out if you have urinalysis or other required testing. Megaton makes the call for you at your chosen time, listens for responses, and sends you a convenient text summary so you never miss important information or waste time on hold.

How does Megaton Caller work?

Simply schedule a call in the app, set the time you want it to happen, and Megaton will place the call for you every day. It's ideal for calls to automated systems like checking on test results or jury duty updates. You'll receive an SMS summary with the results so you stay informed without dialing in yourself.

What kinds of calls can I make with Megaton?

Megaton is designed for calls to automated systems — like checking on urinalysis testing, confirming call-in status, or finding out if you need to report for jury duty. It's not intended for calls to individuals or emergency services.

Do I need consent to call a number?

Yes! You must have permission to call any number you schedule. You are responsible for obtaining consent and ensuring you're only calling numbers you're authorized to contact.

Can Megaton make calls outside the U.S.?

No. Currently, Megaton Caller only supports calls within the United States and is intended for U.S.-based users.

Is there a guarantee my call will complete?

We do our best to place and complete your calls, but factors like network issues or carrier restrictions may occasionally cause calls or SMS to fail. If you don't receive your summary, we recommend making the call manually.

Is Megaton free to use?

Megaton offers both free and paid plans. Paid features are available through in-app purchases on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Pricing details are listed within the app.

Is my data secure?

Yes! We use secure authentication and encryption technologies, including Amazon Cognito, to protect your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
